Day #36 - Yeah. We Were Pulled Over On Bikes.

Today was an amazing day. So many awesome things happened. First of all, we reached speeds above 50 mph. Then, on the way down the mountain, we got pulled over by a cop........for "challenging vehicles".

We didn't mean to, but it was real funny to be pulled over. He just let us go by saying "bike safely". [It was the highlight of the week] I got my first flat tire today... Over half way without a flat is pretty awesome! Out of all us bikers we had a total of 3 flats today. Finally, we arrived to Telluride, Colorado after biking 80 miles. It's more of an expensive town to visit, but so far it's been real enjoyable.

The weather is a bit cool because of all the rain today, but we found a hot tub to relax in. We are taking a day off here in Telluride to catch up on sleep and enjoy the mountains. Tomorrow morning we are going to down hill mountain bike the ski slopes :). [No snow of course] It's going to be AMAZING.

  2. Hi Son,
First of all, who is Caroline?
You know you're vehicular insurance can go up if ticketed - whether on a bike or not. ;)
I'm glad you're safe today - I didn't like hearing you went mountain biking - in the mud, on the (real) mountains having never done that before. Whew!
Your friend Conner form FOHC said he's having Stephen withdrawals. He's waiting for your presence. But I told him that you have a new friend, Cameron, and 3 others. They both start with a C. ;)
Lots of people said they are following your blog even though they don't comment. They are rec'g the email rendition or reading directly off the blog. So needless to say they want to know when you'll be home. When will you be home? I'm having Stephen issues too.
    Love you,
    mom
