Day # 31 - Goodbye Kansas, Hello Colorado.

It rained all night, but we slept under a pavilion so we kept dry. We got up around 7 this morning and headed out as soon as possible. I forgot to mention yesterday that I got a flat. It was a slow leak so after biking into town we repaired it with a patch. It held air all day. We stopped for an early lunch in Scott City and chilled at the library for Dave to catch up on some blogging. We were back on the road at 2 o'clock. We met some bicyclists heading east today.

They said that they bike sections of America every year and next year are planning to finish the complete trip. Today's road was flat and there was nothing to see in any direction. Until we came upon this cow farm...........it stunk.

After all of that we finally made it Colorado!

Tonight we are staying at Sheridan Lake, Colorado. We biked a total of 107 miles today. We also met some bikers from England, heading east who are staying here too.
